While I am reading my Module for EDR, I was able to meet this topic. So I took the test found in the same module and result was, I am 100% Right dominant. So I did a web research and found out that right brain dominant are:

Pamper Yourself.

It is a sin to not pamper yourself. A mortal sin especially those who are always under stressful environment. And honestly, I admit I am one of those stressed people who sometimes forget to pamper herself.

Enough of the lecture. Before I start narrating my first ever BODY SCRUB experience , I am genuinely disappointed because I am trying to upload my picture after the body scrub session and finally took my shower to cleanse myself again. Grrr. Anyway, today, I finally got the pampering I deserved! I tried having a body scrub.

For those who does not know what body scrubbing is, I will give the simplest definition for it. Its main purpose is to exfoliate, cleanse and hydrate the skin by eliminating dead skin cells thus making the skin softer and supple after the body scrub session. The session only lasted for 30 minutes, but every minute was really a worthwhile experience especially for a first timer like me. The therapist lead me on a small private room where in she asked me to totally undress myself and to lie on the bed on a prone position first. The therapist was very particular with the process of giving me body scrub. After the body scrub session, the therapist instructed me to head for the shower and cleanse myself.

All in all, I don’t have any regret that I stepped into that facial salon (Let’s Face It) and asked for a body scrub. I easily noticed how my skin differed from before and after the session. I can say that scrubbing is such a pampering experience that so far can’t compare with anything else. I am greatly looking forward for another body scrub treatment. Need to save moolah again. Ha.ha.

First Glimpse, First Catch

Every special child has the right to live a normal and decent life. In order for them to meet this, concerned people surrounding them (parents, educators and community) must totally and genuinely work hand in hand in achieving this goal. Before as this course started, I am one hundred percent optimistic that I can greatly contribute to the development on any program related to special children. And as the course progresses, I become more conscious that there could be more different ways for everyone to partake and have their own little contribution to help every special child in our country. As I read over the modules, it enlightened me more on the aspect of caring and rearing special children. Caring for them requires a person to have sufficient knowledge, manifest integrity and provide adequate amount of support and unconditional love. I hope that eventually I will have these qualifications.

I decided to also place my daily journal here for my Caring for the Special Child course requirement.

Currently reading this book. A true to life novel – coming straight from the grandmother of the author. I will try to produce a book review for this when I am finish reading.

But so far, it already captured my attention since the lead, Lily, possesses a very compelling character, never let her failures defeat her yet uses it as an unyielding motivation to stand up and face another tomorrow.

Words can hurt the MOST

This picture shows how verbal abuse can greatly hurt anyone. Not all of us know that it is one of the common household problems in our society. Being verbally abused is almost twice the same as being physically abused.

So to all of us, we should always think THRICE before pouring out any emotions especially when we are contained with rage and anger. Always put into mind that scars can heal but harsh words sometimes don’t.
